The fort and lake are close to Udaipur.

Kumbhalgarh is a fort. The length of its outside walls are second only to the great wall of China. Inside it contains more than 300 temples. It is possible to view the Aravalli mountains from the fort.

My girlfriend will be in London at the end of October so I will be meeting her there for a few days / week from there I will go on to India for about 3 weeks. Then back home via London.

The way I am going to work the tickets is to buy round trip ticket from San Francisco / Oakland to London for the initial departure time and ultimate return date. Then another round trip ticket from London to Delhi. Looks like I can do it for about $1400 on British Airways.

My last trip went quite well. Christine and I had some wonderful experiences. I plan on returning in November to visit my friends in Jaipur.

At this point I am thinking about 3 weeks and staying in Jaipur most of that time with a few small trips to near by places of interest.
